How to participate in Summer Reading

  1. Starting June 1, 2022 read, be read to, listen to an audiobook.
    • Graphic novels, magazines, and eBooks count!
    • Double the points! When you read to kids, the minutes count for them and for you!
  2. Log your minutes.
    • Do it online using the button above. (You’ll need to register for an account.)
    • Or use a gameboard to track your minutes. Download it below or pick one up when you visit your branch.
  3. Be sure to read at least 600 minutes to complete the Summer Reading program. If you read extra minutes, that’s great. For every extra 200 minutes read, you will receive an additional entry into the grand prize drawing.

Very interesting book!! Anyone who has dealt with the VA (or actually, any health care system) can understand what he has gone through. Loved reading it but was so saddened by the "Afterword".
